Mzee Jackson Kibor, popular Eldoret politician and Chairman of the Men’s Conference since 2010 has officially announced his retirement from the global organization. Kibor, who has not been well in recent months, has hung up his sword after a 22-year successful career of dedicated servant leadership, selflessness, and stewardship that led to the fulfillment of the movement’s major mission and vision. Through his chairmanship, the Men’s Conference which is held annually between the 12th and 15th of February was recognized as a leader of transformative change by international agencies such as the UN, IMF, WHO, World Bank, and many governments from around the world.

“This is difficult for me to say, but here it goes: I am officially retiring from this organization to focus my time and energy on my health, and other things that require my attention especially in my old age. I’ve done a lot of reflecting in the past week and have asked myself difficult questions. I am so proud of what we have achieved as a team,” Mzee Kibor told the thousands of gentlemen who gathered for the closing ceremony at an undisclosed conference facility.

Mzee Kibor said he was very emotional because his retirement comes at a time many men are facing staggering tragedy and life-threatening challenges such as loss of income, low libido, the pandemic of simping, and unending wars from corporate feminists who have vowed to decapitate men who dare stand up for their masculinity.

“A silent epidemic is killing men! Why are male suicide rates higher? While my time as your chairman has been such a thrilling ride, far beyond my imagination, and full of ups and downs, I am sad I am leaving you at this very critical moment,” said Kibor.

“As I sit here now, however, I think of all of you, I stand with you and cherish the friendships, relationships, and successes we have achieved together. I will remember you,” added Mzee.

Jackson Kibor is set to chair the last board meeting that will elect the new chairman and president in the coming weeks. He urged all to join hands in promoting mental wellness, exercise, and a healthy diet among men from across the country and encouraged them to be their brother’s keeper during these trying times.

Mzee Kibor has won hundreds of local and international awards, the recent one being the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart, Kenya’s highest honor award he received from President Uhuru Kenyatta during the 2021 Madaraka Day celebrations.
